Chairman Remarks
“As an individual of Greek-Filipino heritage, I am honored to embark upon the establishment of these initiatives. The council is dedicated to unlocking latent potential and capitalizing on emerging opportunities across an array of sectors.
The Hellenic-ASEAN Business Council, through its initiatives, aspires to foster bilateral trade, facilitate investment flows, and cultivate socio-cultural collaboration between Greece and ASEAN Countries. It actively promotes the exchange of best practices, encourages joint ventures, and facilitates business networking opportunities.
Greece’s geographical position at the crossroads of Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa makes it a strategic gateway for businesses aiming to access the European market, providing a bridge between different regions and facilitating international trade.
Under the guidance of the ASEAN Secretariat, the ACAT Ambassadors and best practices from other ASEAN Business Councils, I am confident that this initiative will benefit not only the business communities but further promote the economic relations between Greece and ASEAN countries.”
